Happy Belated Thanksgiving

So sorry for not getting on here last week.  I hope I did not ruin your week.  Just know that all is well and I am doing ok.  Thanksgiving was fantastic.  Great food, great company, great times.  I hope that all of you have had the same experience.  I just can't beleive that I have missed out on yams/sweet potatoes all this time.  This has been only the second time that I have had them and they still taste so heavenly.  I might prefer them over original mashed potatoes.

So do you know what this means, I mean it being the end of November.  It means that this semester is almost over.  I have two more tests to take, one being tomorrow and the other next week, then I have the final on one of the days between the 12th and the 15th.  Carolyn will also have her finals in those days as well.  We are so excited.

Carolyn and I have a new calling in the ward.  We are Sunday school teachers for the 12 and 13 year old YM and YW.  We taught our first lesson today and it went well.  Now considering that there are only two boys and three girls total I think that it will not be a hard class.

So far in these past few months in this ward, three different people thought that Carolyn was my daughter.  The way that they figured it out was the way we held hands and a diaper bag on Carolyn's shoulder.  It is pretty funny when they figure it out.

Now it being November we have done a little decorating to our house.  I know that it is really early but we have set up our tree and put the lights up on our house already.  We are just excited about this year because it is the first year in our own house and our own way.  We are starting our own traditions and enjoynig it.  It should be a great season for us.

Caleb is using his charms in our ward.  He seems to be known throughout the ward as the cutest kid ever.  Everyone is saying that he is so cute and handsome.  Well what can we say, HE IS!!!

Well I hope all is well with you guys and I am thankfull for you all and all that you do and say.  I learn so much from you guys.  Till next time.

  1. You are awesome bro! Interesting how much you love yams more than mashed potatoes. :) To each their own. hehehe. Good luck on your finals! I am so glad that you are having fun starting new traditions...Oh, and you don't look old enough to have a daughter as old as Carolyn looks. People in your ward must be a little CrAzY!!!

PS, in case mom didn't tell you, I mailed your Christmas to her this year because it needed to get to you by Dec 1st and we couldn't get a hold of you on the day I was mailing it. You will need to open the one that is NOT wrapped in the blue Christmas paper. I forgot to label it. Call me on Dec 1st, when you get it!

  2. Yep, it is about time to start your own traditions. But lets still do a few traditions together. Like Christmas Eve and talking and video's with everyone. Can't wait to talk to you all.

Everyone is correct. Caleb is so cute.

  3. Though I've yet to meet the child, and I'd hate to get into comparative discussions about our children, I'm sure he's a cute little bug. But I've still got a cashew. (ask Pauline)
