Third week in March

Did you think that I would miss a week?  It was pretty close but I finally found the time to sit down and write.  Thank you for checking in and also for updating your statuses.  It has been fun to read about your experiences and lives.  I hope you continue with vigor and determination.  And yada yada yada lets get to what the "favorite child" has done this past week.

I told you last week that something was going to change for us here in Lehi.  I guess there is no other way to tell you than to tell you up front.  Yes some of you already know but here you go again.  Carolyn and I are starting a new diet.  It is from Tahitian Noni, which means we get to do it for free.  Might as well try it out if it's free right.  Well they have come out with a new product line called FIT.  There are six different products that we are taking in order to lose 3% body fat, 5 pounds, or gain more lean muscle.  One of these has to be accomplished in the next month or we are out of the program.  So we are going to start counting calories, exercising more and eating healthier and smarter in order to do this.  I am in it to gain more muscle and maybe loose a pound or two.  I know it is going to be hard to change our lifestyle but the goal is worth it.  Wish us luck.

On a side note, we would like to thank Amanda for the wonderful clothes and the new pet that she so willingly donated to Caleb. The new pet was a 50" long spider with hairy knuckles and puppy dog eyes. We just couldn't resist the first look it gave us. So thank you, thank you, thank you.

So that is it for the week.  I know it is not much but at least it is something.  Have a great week!

  2. Didn't we go over this last Sunday? You can't be because they want you out of the house.

  3. All I can say is...six-dollar burger, pizza, any type of burrito from Cafe Rio, and (drumroll) lots and lots of cereal. Mmmm.

Good luck on that diet thing.

  4. What kind of new pet are you talking about. Ben brought a spider here from Florida? No way!

  5. Did you get a picture of Caleb with this hairy spider? I am sure it is adorable! ;)
Much luck on the diet! I really do hope it goes well. You guys seemed to have done well on your no sugar diet, so maybe that helped start you on knowing you can resist when you put your mind to it! :)
