So I keep forgeting to put this story on here. Carolyn told this to me last month I think and it comes from a friend of hers. So one day Carolyn meets up with a friend at school and they start talking about life. The subject of husbands comes up and they start going through all of their friends and who married who. They then realize, or at least Carolyn's friend realizes, that most of the guys their high school friends have married are not that "good looking". She then turns to Carolyn and says, "Except for you, you married a Man God." Wow what do you say to that.
So along with Hong Kong, this week has been very wet. In fact there have been a couple of days where we should have all gone home, but we worked on through the rain. Friday came along and it was still raining. They finally decided to send us home early. The catch is that we would have to come back in on Saturday to finish mowing what we couldn't finish during the week. Ok sure, I guess. I thought that it would only take four hours or so to do that. Boy was I wrong. I started at 6:15 a.m. and clocked out at 3:40 p.m. Nine and a half hours straight without any breaks. Well the only break I got was taking the first load of 5 or 6 yards of cut grass to the green waste facility. All of it was shoveled into the truck, not by me alone though. There were three of us working that day. Needless to say I hope that this never happens again. If it does please at least let it be during the week and not on a Saturday. Now I know that to some of you that may say that it can't be all that bad, which it wasn't at the time. I did what I had to do cause that is my duty. No matter the pain, fatigue or discomfort. I did it and did most of the hard work. So that just proves to you all that I trully am a Man God. :)

What a week...
So as some of you know Carolyn's oldest brother died last week. It was a week of shock, concern, and tears. Friday was the funeral and it was a good one. Thanks to all of those who showed their concern for us and our family. We are all doing better and taking it better as well.
Caleb is nine months today!!! It is so crazy how much he is learning. He is now scooting across the floor all the time and gets into things that he shouldn't. This house needs to be touched up a bit. He can now get into the sit up position all by himself from laying on his stomach. He can also stand up while holding onto something. He also loves to hold onto our fingers and run across the floor. He is learning all of the necessary things to be able to get around all by himself. Before his birthday, I beleive that he will be walking.
Carolyn has decided to just go half time this semester. The calculus class before was just too much for her to do with all of the other things she needs to do already. Which is fine by me, more time to spend together.
I am getting a raise in this month. One of the guys above me is quitting so I will be taking his spot. It is not a supervisor position or anything like that but more like a team leader position. They say I will get a "nice increase in wages". I don't know what that means, so I'll find out this week. Along with that come all the benefits and the full-time status. They really like me I guess. I just need to keep up the great work that I am doing.
Ginger is still the same....wild and fun loving. We love having her a part of our family.
Well that is it. I hope your week will be great and full of adventures. That way you'll be able to write in your blog. Love you all.

Mommy Dear
What else can I say that has not been said. Mother's are the reason for the season. They bring a new life to our world and keep it there by a loving and gentle nurishment. Luckily for all of us we have more than one of these mother's in our lives. I would like to talk about three of them today.
My wife is so wonderful. I love her with all of my heart. My entire life revolves around her. Almost every descision I make I contemplate on what she would like, want or have me do. It is true that I can't get her out of my head. Like the song says, "I just can't get you out of my head... your love is all I think about". She is so good taking care of Caleb. He loves her to peices a lot more than he loves me. He and I are eternally grateful to have her in our lives.
My mother is so grand. I love her too. If it wasn't for her I would not be where I am at right now. She has done so much for me that there would be no way for me to repay her. Hopefully she isn't keeping a tab. I will try to do my best to make her proud, by doing and teaching the things that she has taught to me. I wish her a great day today.
My mother-in-law is so great. What an example she has set. She is so hard working to support her family and still raise them and help them out whenever they need it. She is so willing to serve even if it is at the spur of the moment. She is wise and knowledge able and compassionate. She fills her role well. Happy Mother's Day.
So I know that I have had and still have more mothers to thank but that would take all day. So here is a Speacial Thanks to Grandma Peterson, Grammy, Lila, Sister Barrus (Chicago), Sister Lott and my own sisters. Happy Mother's Day.
May you continue to bless each life you touch and keep on nourishing this world to become a better one.
